The Tip series is a collection in praise of the diminutive piece. I love the grand sweep of things just as much as the art of giving something quite diminutive an intrinsic significance; but what most fascinates me is the way a very small piece of horn can be the epitome of minimalist simplicity. Some horn tips harbour astonishingly beautiful colours – and these are what I aim to uncover. I experimented with some small, colourful discs and that is how the Tip series came about.
