2025 Christmas ornament alder cones from Forsølvningsfabrikken is made from real alder cones that have been electroplated with a layer of copper! Beneath the beautiful copper surface lies a genuine alder cone.

I love the forest in its winter coat – especially the small, brown alder cones that I often use in my Christmas decorations. Most of all, I enjoy a walk through the forest on a cold winter day, watching the tiny cones waiting to fall to the ground or into a stream, ready to take root in a new place.

All items are handcrafted at Forsølvningsfabrikken’s workshop in Bøvlingbjerg and are made using the methods and proud traditions that define our entire production.
